Eric Lewerenz studied many things at the University of Minnesota, but he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and went on to earn an MS in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration (emphasizing Health Information Management).  Eric has worked on a number of large national research projects, has a history of working within the senior care industry (nursing homes, assisted living, and senior housing), and is passionate about high-quality information and process improvement.

Eric is a programmer at heart, and he likes looking for new ways to solve problems.  When he’s not problem-solving at the office, he’s investing time at home with his wife and six children.  Playing soccer, biking and reading are his personal pastimes.

Heidi Lewerenz has been working in design and marketing communications for nearly 18 years.  Her passion for helping people communicate through beautiful graphics, effective brands and sensational websites fuels her desire to create.

Heidi attended college at Concordia University St. Paul, MN, interning in public relations and television media.  After earning her BA in Communications and Psychology she started working at an international non-profit healthcare organization in Minneapolis, MN “Be the Match”.  Writing and designing content for print, television, and web, she developed her communication, business and design skills and met many wonderful people along the way.

Heidi freelanced as “StrategiCreative Design” for nearly a decade.   In 2011, she and her husband Eric re-branded the company as “Coolwater Creative LLC” to include more web development services and expand their outreach to mission-minded organizations and small businesses.

When Heidi isn’t working, she is helping to grow her six beautiful children, learning through life experiences and striving to find joy in the journey.
